Content Operations Specialist (Music & Podcast Distribution)

Digital Minds is looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Content Operations Specialist to join our dynamic music distribution team. You'll be responsible for the seamless delivery of music and podcast content to major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and others. This involves metadata management, content preparation, upload, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize metadata for music releases and podcasts.
• Prepare and upload content to all relevant digital service providers (DSPs).
• Ensure accurate content labelling and compliance with platform guidelines.
• Monitor content delivery schedules for timely releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve upload, delivery, and metadata issues with DSPs.
• Generate and analyze performance reports using platform analytics.
• Stay current on evolving DSP requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with digital music and podcast distribution platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.).
• Understanding of metadata standards, tagging, and file preparation.
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of music/podcast copyright, publishing, or licensing.
• Familiarity with audio/video file formats.
• Experience analyzing platform analytics and generating performance reports
