Job description

This position focuses primarily on recruitment responsibilities while ensuring that company values and culture are upheld and promoting employee satisfaction. The HR Specialist is a key role responsible for identifying talent, managing the recruitment process, and driving employee engagement initiatives according to corporate culture and values.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to deeply understand the organisation structure, priorities, opportunities and key business drivers to drive recruiting strategies across these teams.

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various positions within the company.

  • Manage candidates at all stages of the recruitment process, job descriptions, posting of roles, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling, managing onsite/online interviews.

  • Negotiate and manage the offer process (reviewed, extended, and followed through with offers to the onboarding process).

  • Collaborate with management to address employee concerns and improve employee experience across all levels of the organization. Also, act on employee feedback to drive initiatives that improve work life, morale, and organizational commitment.

  • Facilitate team-building activities, recognition programs, and other employee engagement initiatives.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and foster relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and talent pools.

  • Manage job postings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and presenting shortlists of candidates to hiring managers.

  • Knowledge of all acquisition channels/platform to recruit the best possible candidates for each open role.

  • Encompass the company’s mission, values, and culture in all HR activities, from recruitment through to employee engagement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employee engagement strategies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.

  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or employee engagement roles, with demonstrated success in talent acquisition.
