Job description

Digital Minds is seeking for a Video Production Coordinator.

Production Coordinators are responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to senior production staff prior to, during and after video production. You will work in a support role, providing assistance to crews of various departments and performing general office duties.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a general assistant, working under the direction of the producer and other production staff to undertake whatever basic tasks are required to ensure the smooth running of the production process.

  • Help prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc.

  • Assist costume designers, directors, camera operators and other crew members.

  • Print and distribute daily paperwork (e.g. scripts, call sheets).

  • Escort actors/creators around the filming area and coordinate extras.

  • Conduct crowd control by putting up signs, directing pedestrians away from filming, lock down sets etc.

  • Act as a runner distributing messages or items within crew.

  • Perform administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.).

  • Undertake errands as assigned.

  • Assist with on-set catering.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment under deadline pressure.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Excellent driving skills ( car driver's licence).

  • Adaptability, Enthusiasm, Determination. Perseverance.

  • Knowledge of terminology.

  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving.

  • Physical strength and stamina.
